ACL Rehab in Professional Hockey Player
Rob Bordson
I came to Keely for my post-ACL reconstruction rehab. As a professional hockey player, I needed to get high level care to get back to the level I needed to be able to compete with some of the best hockey players in the world. I would drive down from Duluth just to work with her twice a week. Keely knew how hard she could push me and made my rehab experience intense. Because of her hard work and attention to detail, I was able to get back to playing hockey at a high level just 9 months post-operation and went on to play 5 more professional seasons.

ACL tear in Skier and Triathlete
Mike McClure
I first started working with Keely 10 years ago after I tore my ACL while skiing. I told her that I wanted to be back on skis the following year. She told me that to do that, I would need to work really hard on my rehab. Throughout the next eight months, she constantly challenged me with exercises that allowed me to successfully reach my goal. She possesses a superb knowledge of the skeletal and muscle structures that need to be rehabbed for different injuries. I know that because I have returned to her multiple times for back, shoulder, and other knee issues over the years. For me, she has seen beyond the immediate injury and has addressed more long-term issues such as glute strength and hip flexor/quad tightness that, left unaddressed, would cause more issues down the road.
Return to Pickleball after Ankle Surgery
Jillian Trachsel
In 2022 I had a major ankle surgery that had me non weight bearing for 3 months. I was told it would be 6 months to get back on court and at least a full year before I would be fully back to playing pickelball, golf and other sports I love. When it came time for rehab my PT was great, but he wasn't familiar with pickleball and how to get me back after such an extensive surgery. Keely designed a detailed weekly advancement program for me with specific pickleball progression. It was amazing how quickly I could see and feel a difference. 6 months after surgery I was back on the court at full strength and my ankle has never felt better.
